Motorola V400 Faceplate Installation Instructions

Installing your new faceplate or housing onto your Motorola V400 or V220 is quick and simple when you follow these steps. Please remember that a T6 Torx Screwdriver is required for this installation. Use of a tool other than a T6 Torx Screwdriver to remove your faceplate may result in damage to the faceplate or to your phone.

Step 1:
Remove the Battery Cover and Battery from your phone

Step 2:
Open the Cell Phone's Flip

Step 3:
You will see four (4) plastic plugs. Remove these with a small pin or other tool

Step 4:
You now will see four (4) Torx screws where you removed the plastic plugs

Step 5:
Remove the Torx screws with the T6 Torx Screwdriver

Step 6:
Carefully pull off your faceplate

Step 7:
Re-Install your new faceplate in the reverse order.
